Quantum: Building a decentralised tomorrow

Why Quantum?

At present, the DeFiChain ecosystem has high barriers to entry. The current method requires users to engage a central exchange that is hampered by a complex KYC process, thus isolating DeFiChain from other blockchains.

With Quantum, our goal is to eliminate these barriers and improve DeFiChain’s interoperability, beginning with Ethereum. In essence, Quantum aims to be the simplest solution that directly connects anyone to the DFI ecosystem, enabling them to explore dTokens and leverage its assets.

How Quantum Works

  1. KYC-less bridge

    • Lock in ERC20 tokens for corresponding dTokens (ex: WBTC -> dBTC) with no KYC required

    • Claim dTokens, or deposit dTokens to get ERC20 tokens in return

  2. Bridge multiple token pairs

    • Support for the following ERC20 tokens:

      • ETH, WBTC,

      • USDT, USDC (Coming Soon)

  3. Transparent transaction process

    • Fees are displayed upfront for every transaction with no hidden costs

    • Movement of funds is clear in every step of the transaction

  4. Easy-to-use interface

    • Complete transactions from either chain in a few simple steps

    • Users are guided along throughout their journey on Quantum

  5. Multi-sig implementation to ensure no single point of failure
