🀝FAQs

In the FAQs below you can find answers to general and non-error code issues

What networks are supported?

Currently, Quantum only supports ETH <> DFI. However, we will look at adding more networks to bridge to DFI in the future. Have any suggestions? Contact us here!

What are dTokens?

dTokens are native decentralized assets on DeFiChain. If you are unfamiliar with them or would like to learn more, you can read about them here.

Where can I buy dTokens?

To purchase dTokens, you can use the DeFiChain DEX.

What wallet should I use for dTokens? Can I use Metamask?

You can use any wallet that supports DeFiChain network for your dTokens. We recommend DeFiChain Light Wallet or JellyWallet.

Why do I need to send my dTokens for verification when bridging from DFI β†’ ETH?

If you are bridging from DFI β†’ ETH, you will need to send your dTokens for verification. This extra step is for security purposes and ensures that your dTokens are successfully deposited on the bridge.

How long will it take to receive my funds moving either side on Quantum?

When using Quantum, it will take roughly 30-60 minutes for a transaction to complete, going either side of the bridge.

What is a refund address? Why must I provide this?

A refund address is a precautionary measure on Quantum. In the event of an error during a transaction, your funds will not be lost and will be returned to your refund address.

What do the confirmations mean when performing a transaction?

Confirmations are a standard process of verifying transactions on-chain and adding them to a block of transactions.
